Ysgol Llanbedr
Up one levelYsgol Llanbedr pupils are following the river Artro upstream to Capel Salem y Cymerau (‘Salem Chapel of the confluence,’ literally.) They then follow the river Nantcol along the excellent nature trail. The trail rises steeply through an ancient oak woodland and then onto open mountain land. In the distance is Moelfre and to the east, Llethr and just a glimse of Rhinog Fach. The Tithe maps name the tiny islands in the river and the names of nearby farms. Pupils will study them in the classroom later. Also planned is a visit to the Meirionnydd Archives.
