Pupils at Ysgol Tan y Castell, Harlech (literally, ‘the school under the castle’) are studying the names of farms and fields near the school. They hope to discover the links between some of these names and the building of the castle and the establishment of the borough of Harlech. They also intend to walk along part of the Bronze Age track way to study monuments alongside the path.

06-04-2009On June 16 2008, Ysgol Cefn Coch pupils arrived at Tŷ Gwyn station, Ynys. They walked along the roadside where the sea once flooded in around the island.
